 
  
 Donald  K. Cline Sr., 85 of Ravenna, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at his home surrounded by his Family. Donald was born August 26, 1926 in Cleveland to the late, Lee and Dolores (Hutton) Cline. He grew up in Cleveland and joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and served in the south Pacific during WWII. Donald was a proud veteran with the upmost respect for the military and all who served. He retired from Chrysler in 1992 and worked in the stamping plant in Twinsburg. He was an avid fisherman and active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous. Donald is survived by his sons, Donald Jr. and Douglas Cline both of Kent; brother David (Ellen) Cline if Austinburg; grandsons, Donald III, Corey, Devyn, and Kyle also of Kent; granddaughter, Klarrisa; great granddaughter, Ivy; nephews, Mitchell (Debbie) Cline and Scott (Kelley) Cline; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Lila (Carpenter) Cline. Calling hours will  be on Saturday from 10 AM until the 12PM service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Full military honors will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
