Donald G. Fink Sr.

Donald G. “Don” Fink Sr., 85, a longtime resident of Streetsboro, Ohio, passed away on August 7, 2026. In recent years, Don made his home at Brentwood Healthcare.

Don was born on March 16, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Anthony Fink and Ann (Bayer) Fink, both of whom preceded him in death.

Don was married to Louise (Janda) Fink until her passing in 1992. He is survived by his children, Richard (Susan) Fink, Donna (Craig) Carter, and Donald (Kimberly) Fink Jr.; as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his longtime companion, Darlene Ingrassia.

Don was a dedicated member of the Streetsboro community throughout his life. He was active in the Streetsboro Jaycees, served on the Zoning Board of Appeals, was a Cubmaster with the Cub Scouts, and served as president of the Streetsboro Eagles. He was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro.

Don retired from B & B Wood Products after years of dedicated service.

In his personal life, Don enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and spending time with the people he loved. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and was especially fond of two favorite snacks—potato chips and chocolate-covered raisins.

Don will be remembered for the many roles he filled throughout his life—as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, companion, friend, and active member of the Streetsboro community. His life touched many people, and the memories created over his 85 years will live on through the family and friends who loved him.

He will be missed and lovingly remembered.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 from 1pm – 4pm. A private inurnment will be held at All Saints Cemetery.
