Donald E. Flynt, 71 of Ravenna, died Sunday April 19th at his residence following brief battle with cancer. He was born on July 18, 1943 in Warren, Ohio and lived most of his life in Ravenna. Don was an Army veteran and retired from the maintenance department at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Reed and Berniece Flynt, brother Chuck, step-son Greg Neff and granddaughter Holly Warner.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barb, daughters; Vera Mays and Mary Burge, 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to Mary, Vera, Barbie, Heather, Cindy, and Robinson Hospice for the wonderful care given to Don.
In following Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, May 2nd from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Old Kent Jailhouse in Fred Fuller Park, 497 Middlebury Road in Kent.
