Donald Edward Loftin

Donald Edward Loftin, 94 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on Thursday May 20, 2021 just ten days after he lost the love of his life Laura Louise on May 10, 2021.  Mr. Loftin was born in Ravenna, Ohio on November 7, 1926 to the late Lowell and Bertha (Spencer) Loftin.  Mr. Loftin has lived in Florida the past month and was formerly of Fayetteville, NC and Ravenna.  While in Ravenna he was employed at General Electric before a 35 year career working for Richardson Animal Hospital in Ravenna.  In addition to his parents and his wife Laura, he was preceded in death by his children Vicki Conant, Christopher Loftin, Jeffery  Loftin, one grandson Chaa Conant and 12 siblings, Mabel, Zeola, Corrine, Blanche, Eunice, Lois, Fred, John, George, Albert, Herbert and Robert.  Survivors include his children Michael T Loftin, Candis White, Cathy (Sonnie) Bolden, Thomas (Desiree') Loftin, Timothy Loftin, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and Six great great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be Saturday May 29, 2021 from 11 AM until time of services at 12 Noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mr. Loftin will be laid to rest next to his wife in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memorials may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
