Donald R. Stoffer

Donald R. Stoffer  53 of Ravenna passed away Sunday June 22, 2014 at his residence.  He was born June 1, 1961 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Donald has lived in Ravenna all his life and was working for Rotek in Aurora, Ohio as a machinist.   He was a member of the Ravenna Moose 1234, the Greater Ohio Area Super Kids and the USW Local #8565.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching the NHRA, working on his Mustang and Ryan's  GoKart.  He was preceded in death by his parents William and Margaret (Farrell). Stoffer and his brother Carl Stoffer.  Survivors include his wife Denise McCoy, his biological mother Pat Timblin of Akron, sons Shaun McCoy of PA and Ryan McCoy of Ravenna.  Also Surviving are his grandchildren Shaunie, Brandon, Bentlee, Kole, his siblings Vickie Attar of Texas, Jeff (Lori) Stoffer of Ravenna, John (Amy) Young of Wadsworth, Greg (Libby) Young of Akron  and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.  Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel, where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday June 26, 2014 with Jim Pierce Officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories may shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
