Donald L. Upshaw

Donald L. Upshaw, 69 of Kent, passed away Sunday June 25, 2023 at his home.  On April 27, 1954 Donald was born in Columbus, Georgia to the Junious Upshaw and Carolyn (Colbert) Upshaw.  Being a lifelong Ravenna and Kent resident he attended the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church and  retired  as a press operator for the QSR Company in Twinsburg, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Upshaw.  Survivors include his son Donnell L. Upshaw, his grandchildren Dalaina May Upshaw, Tylur Fertig and siblings Cynthia Upshaw-Jones and Sylvester Upshaw.  In honoring his request cremation has taken place, memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday July 8, 2023 at the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church Ravenna, Ohio.  Following the memorial services there will a celebration of life service starting at 2:00 PM at Fred Fuller Park Pavillion #2.  Condolences and memories of Donald may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
