Donna E Smith, 83, of Streetsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Hillcrest Hospital. She was born on December 9, 1929 in Follansbee, West Virginia to the late, John Tipton and Mary (Meadows) Richardson. Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kachele of Streetsboro and Sheila (Bill) Rogers of Streetsboro; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Mary Blatnik of Streetsboro and Ruby Pelc of Parma; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded by her daughter, Mary Sue Skudrin; son in law, Larry Kachele; and sisters, Ruby Ellen Wolford and Eleana Tipton. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
