Doreen J. List

Doreen J. List, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born on January 18, 1940 to Henry A. and Josephine (Mehic) Christenson. She had lived in Akron since the late 80s, formerly of Mantua. She worked in retail as a clerk for Clarkins in Kent, Ohio and prior to Clarkins she worked at the  Walden Country Club. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur D. Foster and her second husband, William F. List and six days after Doreen, her sister, Laverne Hammond  passed away on Christmas Day December 25, 2019. She is survived by her children, Stan (Pam) Foster and Mark Foster and seven grandchildren. In honoring Doreen's wishes,  cremation  has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held January 25, 2020 at 11:30 AM at the Hilltop Christian Church  4572 W Prospect St, Mantua, OH 44255.
