Doris E. (Frame) Barton

Doris E. Barton 85 of Randolph died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born September 28, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Glenn and Frieda (Johnson) Frame. Doris had worked as a lobby girl for Goodyear and as a scanner for Microfilm Data Systems. Survivors include her husband of 64 years Jasper Barton, sons Keith (Diane) Barton of Randolph, Jeff Barton of Houston, TX and Scott (Chris) Barton of Edinburg, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, daughter in law Terri Barton of Randolph, sister Ellen Ritchey of Tyler, TX, brother David (Maggie) Frame of Tallmadge, sisters in law Bonnie (Dick) Reed of Cuyahoga Falls, Mary Barton of Gadsden, AL, Imogene Cottle of Sylvania, GA and Sherry Barton of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Barton and sister Marian Stevens. Calling hours will be from 5 – 8 PM Monday, December 26, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at to funeral home with Rev. Dallas Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. The family request memorials to the Haven of Rest.
