Doris M. (Johnson) Floody-Baker

Doris M. Floody-Baker 88 of Ravenna passed away Saturday October 24, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Ravenna.  She was born in Newport, Ohio to the late Joseph and Pearl  (Garling) Johnson.  Doris has  lived in  Ravenna most of her life and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  She had worked as a balloon printer before retiring from Oak Rubber.  Survivors include her son David  (Kathy) Floody, her step daughter Patricia (Ed) Clapp, her brother Robert Johnson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband L.D. Baker on August 19, 2001, her step children Myrna Russell, Bob Baker and siblings  Paul  Johnson, Pat Johnson and Betty Baker.  Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM Monday  October 26, 2015 until time of funeral services at 2:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes, Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks the memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Doris may be shared with the family at www.wwcfuneralhomes.com.
