Doris B. Dolfi, 63, of Streetsboro, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late, Dorsey and Pansy (Whittaker) Wendell. Doris was a life long resident of Streetsboro and retired from Chrysler after 35 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Albert Dolfi of Streetsboro; daughter, Kimberly Wendell of Streetsboro; son, Kyle (Robin) Crocker of Ravenna; four grandchildren, Troy Wendell, Summer McCombs, Logan and Payton Crocker; sisters, Dolly Savel of Kent and Bonnie Terry of Ravenna; brothers , Danny (Carol) Wendell of Arizona and Tony (Linda) Wendell of Missouri; two nieces, Morgan and Leah Savel; mother-in-law, Pearl Dolfi of Tiltonsville; sister-in-law, Jean (Pete) Miska of Elyria; best friend, Donna Hall; and sweet puppy, Zack. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Bloss. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel.
