Dorothy Ann (Goodyear) Darr

Dorothy Ann Darr went to be with Jesus Christ her Savior as she passed away peacefully March 10th with family by her side. She was born in Ravenna on May 19th, 1948.

Her walk with the Lord kept her strong and was evident in her life as she battled cancer the past few years. She loved her family, children and her church, Assembly of God in Ravenna where she was an active and devoted member. She volunteered her time and service wherever there was a need.

Dorothy served her country in the Army at Fort Bragg, N.C. and was retired from O’Brien Brass in Twinsburg where she worked for 13 years.

Survived by her sister, Nora Mae Lewis, brothers, John (Sharlotte) Goodyear, David (Susanne) Goodyear, Dennis (Danna) Goodyear, many nieces and nephews and two special great nieces, Emmalee and Raeleigh Goodyear whom she loved very much.

Preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Smith, brother James Goodyear and parents Russell and Gladys Goodyear.

Visitation will take place Saturday, March 19th at 10:30 am, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:30 am at the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 OH-14 in Ravenna.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missions Fund in care of the Ravenna Assembly of God.
