Dorothy M. (Harris) French

Dorothy M. French 90 of Columbus, formerly of Streetsboro, died Friday August 5, 2016. She was born November 30, 1925 in Plum Township, PA to William R. and Eldora (Mitchell) Harris. She was a member of the Streetsboro United Methodist Church, the Federated Democratic Women of Portage County, the Streetsboro American Legion Aux #685 and the US Navy LST Association. Survivors include her daughter Suzanne French of Columbus, granddaughter Carissa Ann Look of Washington DC and son in law Peter Look of Edgartown, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert French in 2000, daughter Bobbie Ann Look, sister Kathryn Robertson and brothers Harold and William Harris. Calling hours will be from 12 PM until time of funeral services at 1 PM Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Reverend Annette Dimond will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Portage County APL, PO Box 927, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
