Dorothy Irene (Kepler) Chiles

Dorothy Irene Chiles 90 of Atwater passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 , at her home . She was born December 15, 1922 in Rootstown, Ohio to Arthur and Mamie (Mason) Kepler .  S he graduated from Atwater High School in 1941 and retired in 1997 from Waterloo Schools where she was a cook. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Uniontown, OH.   Dorothy, who had an energetic spirit and laughter, enjoyed spending time with both family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Jacqueline "Jackie" (Rockey) Beach of Randolph, OH, Renee (Michael) Briggs of Washington Township, OH and Jane (Bill) Wallbrown of North Benton, OH , 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Chiles in 1985, daughter Joyce Brown, sons Thomas and David Chiles , grandson Chad Eric Beach, and brothers Arthur, Glenn, Elmer and Harold Kepler.  A Memorial Celebration of Life, will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Uniontown Ohio with Reverend Harold Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 2780 Canton Road, Uniontown, OH 44685 or the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106 . Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
