Dorothy J. Smith

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy J. Smith, age 80 a beloved wife and cherished member of the Ravenna, community, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She was born March 19, 1945 in Mckeesport, PA.

Dorothy was a dedicated Real Estate Agent for 50 years helping countless families find their homes and build their futures.

She is preceded in death by her son, Edward "EJ" Smith; brother, Jay Wallace; sister, Barbara Wallace Mann and parents, J.C. (Pete) and Ruth Wallace.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Crawford Smith, her best friend Donna Clark and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 from 10 AM with services to follow at 11 AM with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna, Ohio.
