Dorothy Catherine Timmons

Dorothy Catherine Timmons 86 of Shalersville passed away at her home surrounded by family. She was born November 23, 1927 in Cleveland to the late John Theiss and Millie (Hayes) Theiss.  Dorothy lived in Shalersville with her daughter for the past 5 years coming from Madison where she also lived with her daughter.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, and fishing with her family.  She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandra (Frank) Slayko of Shalersville, Shirley Livingston of Willoughby, son, John (Patty) Timmons of Willoughby, a brother, George Theiss of Madison, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded by her husband, Robert E., a son, Carl Timmons, and a grandson, Bobby Lee Szakacs.  Calling Hours will be held from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Funeral Home with Rev. William Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland.
