Earl L Hartung

Earl L. Hartung, 85 of Ravenna, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024. Earl was born on September 28, 1938 in Ravenna to his late parents Edward and Hazel Hartung. He was vice president of Ravenna Savings, where he retired in 1999. Previously he was a Firefighter for the City of Ravenna from 1958 to 1972. He was also a member of the Civil Service Commission for the City and a member of the Ravenna United Fund. He proudly served as Foreman of the Grand Jury on multiple occasions. Earl enjoyed golfing, coaching little league, and anything that had to do with sports.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Harold, Leslie, Ray and Lucille. Earl is survived by his wife Sandra L. Hartung, whom he married July 29, 1961, his children Jeffrey Earl (Kimberly) Hartung and Beth A. Hartung, his grandchildren Kristina (Richard) Carrion, Jeremy Twigg, Joshua Earl (Melissa) Twigg and Casey Hartung, and great grandchild William Nicholson.
