Earl J. Van Valkenberg Jr.

"Together Again" Earl J. Van Valkenberg, Jr., 88, of Ravenna, passed away Friday September 11, 2026 at the Medina Hospital. He was born in Cranberry Twp., PA. to the late Earl J. and Lillian M. (Puleo) Van Valkenberg, Sr. Earl has lived in Ravenna the past 45 years, was a veteran of the US Army. He was a truck driver for many years at Carlton Trucking and then retired from TL Express Trucking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol A Van Valkenberg on Feb. 10, 2025, his daughters Linda Van Valkenberg, Jeanne Proper, his granddaughter Carisa Legg and brothers Robert and Tommy Van Valkenberg. Survivors include his children Robert (Heather) Van Valkenberg, Barbie Walters, Michele (Michael) Braddock, Lori McKeown, Vancee VanValkenberg, grandchildren Gregory, Joshua (Hanna), Gabrielle, Jonathan, Makayla, Savanna, Rachel, Kc, Jess, Brent, Aaron, Stacey, Ryan, Bobby, Jess, Amanda, Christopher, and great grandchildren Xander, Kaiden Jay, Zeldaleah, Gydion, Elena, Dalton, Blaire, Cobain, Kyzer, Vayda, Viola, Kiara, Brooke, Lilith, Kairi, Jacilynn, Zachery, Alexis, Brandyn, and great great grandchildren Willliam, Lillian, Aspen, Mersadie and Ashton. Memorial calling hours will be 12 to 2 PM followed by memorial services at 2 PM on Saturday October 3, 2026 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.
