Edna M. (Rottmayer) Hura

Edna M. Hura 90 of Shalersville passed away Tuesday August 2, 2011.  She was born May 24, 1921 in Akron to the late  Eugene and Wally (Bach) Rottmayer.   She was married to Tony Hura for almost 50 yeras, they enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling all over the United States.  Edna was retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital.  Preceding  her in  death were her husband Tony,, brother Earl, sister Dessie and daughter in law Debi. She is survived by her sister Betty Wagner of Doylestown, sons Edward of Colorado, Thomas (Gail) of Ravenna,  Anthony of South Carolina, granddaughters Angela (Brian) Gilbert, Melanie (Eric) Brown, Jennifer (Andrew) Boehlke, Christine (Russell) Reisz, Megan (John) Pinzone and many great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM  on Friday August 5, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers  memorials may be made to the Portage County APL or RMH Hospice.
