Edward C. "Eddie" Osdyke

Edward C. “Eddie” Osdyke, 61, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Born on January 5, 1965, in Ravenna to the late Jacob and Carolyn (Rogers) Osdyke, Eddie was a lifelong Ravenna resident who lived life in his own way. Known for his great sense of humor and stubborn streak, Eddie had a personality all his own. He loved having a good time, enjoying a smoke and a drink, and riding four-wheelers whenever he had the chance. He knew how to have fun, make people laugh, and leave his mark on the people around him.

Eddie was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and worked as a plumber, but one of the most important parts of his life was being a dad. His daughters meant the world to him, and being their father was a role he held close to his heart. His legacy will live on not only through his children and grandchildren, but also through the stories, laughter, and memories that will continue to be shared for years to come.

Eddie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Lacey L. Osdyke and Alissa M. Osdyke; his grandchildren, Cylina Miller, Charles Osdyke, Ryver Zimmerman, and Rayne Zimmerman; and his siblings, Tom Osdyke and Veronica Osdyke-Geddings.

In keeping with Eddie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.
