Edward L. Stewart

Edward L. Stewart 84 of Ravenna died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was born November 24, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to John B. and Ada Juanita (Chapman) Stewart. Edward was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and retired from Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills as a crane operator. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Betty L. (Vaughn), daughters Cindy (Mike Ewing) Stewart and Kathy (Dan) Drainer both of Akron, son Mike (Mary) Stewart of MD, grandchildren Bobby, Danny, Rene, Michael and Kevin, great grandchildren Samantha and Sommer, sister Betty Yambor of Akron, sister in law Mary Stewart of Akron, stepdaughter Debbie, stepsons Denny, Randal and Charles Elliot all of TN and 8 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John B. Stewart, Jr. Cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be held from 11AM to time of memorial service at 12PM Friday, June 13, 2014 at Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna with Reverend Carol Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 250 W. Cedar Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
