Eleanor M (Ritterbusch) Seavers-Polack

Eleanor M. Seavers-Polack, 92 of Kent, passed away Saturday August 21, 2021 at Altercare of Brimfield.  On January 24, 1929 she was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Julias and Mary (Renhack) Ritterbusch.  Eleanor  lived in Kent and Brimfield area for most of her life and retired as Head of Housekeeping at the Holiday Inn in Brimfield, Ohio.  She was an animal lover especially her dogs, enjoyed flowers, birds and in her younger days was an avid bowler.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George Seavers in 2015 and 2nd husband Edward Polack in 2019 and sister Betty Lanni.  Survivors include her daughters Beverley (Richard) Bilotto of Ravenna, Mary Tina Seavers Smith of Brandon, Mississippi, her grandchildren William Van Sant IV, Eric Van Sant, Adam (Heather)  Smith, Sharon (Adam) Coker, her great grandchildren Noah Smith, Lillian Coker, sisters Shirley Conrad, Beverly Bishop and her beloved dog Mindy.  Calling hours will be Thursday August 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of the 11:00 AM funeral service at Shorts Spicer Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Father William Kraynak officiating.  Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery Brimfield, Ohio.  The family would like to thank  Altercare of Brimfield and Absolute Hospice   for the exceptional care of their mother.
