Elizabeth S. "Betty" (Kelly) Sanek

Elizabeth "Betty" Sanek 86 of Ravenna , went to be with the Lord on Monday September 10, 2012. She passed peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born August 14, 1926 in Manitoba, Canada to the late George and Matilda (Graham) Kelly. Betty was a volunteer with Robinson Memorial Hospital for 20 years and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna. She enjoyed reading, baking, where she was famous for her cookies and crossword puzzles.. She loved her family and absolutely loved spending Christmas Day with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Edward, brothers George (Annie), Ralph, Fred (Iris), her sisters Eve, Edith and Marg. She leaves behind her sons Edward (Pam) Sanek of Tallmadge, Richard (Sharon) Sanek of Ravenna and daughter Coleen (Ted) DeSalvo of Windham, she also leaves her grandchildren Scott (Jen) Sanek, Ricky Sanek, Amanda Sanek, Lisa (Chad) Loughry, Daniel DeSalvo and her great grandsons Aaron, Connor and Carter. She will be missed by all. Memorial Calling hours will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday September 13, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Friday September 14, 2012 with Rev. Carol Evans Officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
