Elizabeth A (Roman) Speers

Elizabeth A. Speers,  83 of Streetsboro passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 at Arden Courts of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.  On March 22, 1939, she was born in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Helen (Kosanko) Roman.  She has lived in Streetsboro since 1960 and has worked as a secretary at several locations, but mostly worked at Fashion Twenty Two in Aurora.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James P. Speers on March 1, 2003, her brother Michael Roman and nephew Gregory Roman.  Survivors include her children Michael Speers, Cynthia (Richard) Artim, her grandchildren Corey Artim, Alyssa (James) McGurer, her great granddaughter Elise McGurer, sister-in-law Janice Roman, nieces Sharon Vasickinan, Nikki and Katy Roman, and Vikki (John) Harris.  In honoring her request, there will be no services and she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Elizabeth may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
