Elizabeth J (Taylor) Ward

Elizabeth  J. Ward,  81 of Hudson, passed away Tuesday August 25, 2020 at her home with her family by her side.  On February 12, 1939 she was born in Matewan, West Virginia  to the late O. B. and Irene (Justice) Taylor.  She has lived in Hudson since 1962 and was a cook for Pop's Truck Stop in Streetsboro for 20 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her husband Franklin D. Ward on March 5, 2018 , her children Ronald Ward, Sheila Ward and sibling's  Lois Chrysler and Frank Taylor.  Survivors include her  children  David (Carmella) Ward of Mantua,   Gary (Cindy) Ward of Ravenna,  Elva (Jim) Kubec of Mantua, Robert (Tammy) Ward of Mantua,  Cathy Nibling of Streetsboro, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and sisters Betty Feyh and Joyce Foister.  Calling hours will be Saturday August 29, 2020 from 11 AM until  12 Noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel.  Graveside services will follow at 12:30 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Elizabeth may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
