Ella F. Sanders

First Lady, Mother Ella F. Sanders, 85, of Ravenna went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 3, 2023. She was born May 20, 1937 in Perry, GA to Charlie Gilbert and Louvina (Thompson) Kendrick. Mother Ella was a member and First Lady of the United Church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Ravenna, Ohio for over 50 years. She leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, District Elder James E. Sanders Jr., children Sharon (Gary) Williams and Stanley Sanders, grandchildren Karisma Sanders, Jo'siah Coman, Javaris Coman, Celeste Sanders, Jacob Sanders, Luke Sanders, Elise Sanders, Monique (Chris) Mercury, LaTisha Sanders, Alissia Sanders and Mark Sanders, Jr., great grandchildren Julian and Jayden Amos, Josiah and Jayce Coman, Jasani Sanders, Caden, Cameron and Jazelle Mercury and Jalen Sanders and Khai Smith and siblings Henry, Morris, Eddie and Wayne Kendrick, Gussie Williams, Joann Kendrick and Gwen Kendrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Gilbert and Louvenia Kendrick, her sons Mark Anthony Sanders and Timothy Gilbert, and siblings Jeffrey Kendrick, Rose Kendrick, Len Kendrick and Alvenia Carter. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the United Church of Jesus Christ, 420 S. Prospect Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. District Elder James E. Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna, OH 44266, followed by repass at the United Church of Jesus Christ.
