Elsie I. Bartley

Elsie I. Bartley 94 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Woodlands at Robinson. She was born March 9, 1919 in Springfield. Elsie lived in Oklahoma for 19 years coming back to Ravenna in 2007. She was a member of Rootstown United Methodist Church, and enjoyed going to the Adult Daycare Center.  She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Joyce Zawodniak of Ravenna, Sharon Wyand of Falls Church, VA, Janet Rences of Dayton, Barbara Severson of Midwest City, OK, her son, William Bartley of Bucyrus, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  She was precede by her husband, Dwight Bartley, mother, Florence Diffendel  a brother, Roy Diffendel and a grandson, Jeffery Lee Conley.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the New Testament Baptist Church, 3583 W. Main Street, Ravenna, OH, with Rev. Robert Burgess officiating.  Cremation has taken place and services where held.  A private burial will be held in Glendale Union Cemetery in Cardington, OH at a later date.
