Elsie June (Calvin) Mansfield

Elsie June Mansfield 85 of Edinburg died Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was born August 5, 1930 in Edinburg to Carl and Gladys (Shellhorn) Calvin. Elsie was a member of the Edinburg United Church UCC, a 4-H Advisor for 38 years, a member of the Fair Board Auxiliary and a Poll Worker for the Board of Elections. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Harold L., daughters Diane Bishop of Edinburg and Linda Mansfield of Rootstown, son Roger Mansfield of Deerfield, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister Doris Anderson of Aurora, brother Walter Calvin of Radnor, Ohio, daughter in law Frances Mansfield of Rootstown, brother in law Ray Kline of Palmyra and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard H. and sister Norma Jane Kline. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Thursday, October 8, 2015 and from 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Timothy Paroz will officiate. Burial will follow in Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Edinburg United Church UCC,  4081 Rock Spring Road, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
