Elsie V. (Whipkey) Molesky

Elsie V. Molesky 80 of Rome, Ohio passed away Tuesday March 22, 2011 at her residence.  She was born May 20, 1930 in Summerset, PA to the late John and Ellen Whipkey.  Ms. Molesky has lived in Rome the past six months and was formerly of Ravenna.  She was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Ravenna, the Ravenna VFW Auxiliary Post 1055 and had helped care for the elderly at several places.  She had worked for Portage Plastics and Mantaline in Mantua.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters in a house fire, since then  two other brothers and a sister have died previous.  Survivors include her son Bernard "Skip" (Donna) Latshaw of Ravenna, grandchildren William Holt, Jr., Bernard Latshaw III, Richard Latshaw and Jennifer Graves and nine great grandchildren.  Cremation has taken place with private family services to be held at a later date.
