Emmitt N. Snell 88 of Deerfield passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born April 21, 1933 in Shelbyville, TN to Morris and Velma (Phelps) Snell. Emmitt was a US Army veteran and had worked at Rockwell International. Survivors include his longtime companion Gwen Hornoff and siblings Norma Jean Williams, Walter Snell, Margaret Parker and Debbie Wunner. Graveside services will be held at Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville, TN. Arrangements entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
