Estell I. White

Estell I. White, age 88, of Shalersville Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2026. She was born on March 27, 1938 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Homer and Mina Galloway.

Estell enjoyed participating in many activities while residing at Danbury. She especially enjoyed dancing, singing in the choir, and was the driving force behind Armchair Volleyball. She also enjoyed attending the Church of God and dressing up for Halloween proudly winning the award for Best Costume four years in a row. Estell brought enthusiasm, joy and a wonderful spirit to everything she enjoyed.

In addition to her parents Estell was preceded in death by her husband, Billie White of 65 years; son, Terry White; granddaughter, Gina Russo; sisters, Lucie Blake, Lucille Bittner, Betty White, and Marie Green; brother, Ancel “Bus” Galloway.

Estell was truly loved and will be dearly missed by her brother, Robert (Rose) Galloway; children, David (Michelle) White, Barbara (James Michael) Dickerson, Sheila Lynn (Todd) Bennett, Vicki (John) Pittman, and Diana (Dennis) Foster; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the residents and staff of Danbury Senior Living of Cuyahoga Falls for the friendship kindness, laughter, and countless wonderful memories they shared with Estell. Your friendship brought her so much joy and will always be remembered.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2026 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 from 11am to 12pm with services to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township.
