Esther L. (Devine) Kouba

Esther L. Kouba, 100 of Freedom Township passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born October 8, 1911 in Kent, Ohio to the late Mic and Gladys (Livingston) Devine. Esther was a lifelong member of the Beebe Rebecca Lodge, the Portage County Society of the Blind, and a longtime member of the Federated Democratic Women. She also enjoyed working during the elections at the polls till she was 90 years old. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly (Don) Heath of Cuyahoga Falls, Kerri (Sudarshan) Chitale of GA, great grandchildren, Brandon Ebert, Kathryn and Kelly Ebert. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norbert Kouba, daughter Edith L Mikula, and a grandson Kamron Mikula. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 23, 2011 with calling hours held from 10:00 AM till time of service. A private burial will be in Drakesburg Cemetery.
