Ethel Jean (Johnson) Huhn

E. Jean Huhn 89 of Rootstown, passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013 at the Kensington Care Center in Aurora, Ohio. She was born August 22, 1924 in Jeannette, PA to the late Arthur and Fannie (Robinson) Johnson. Mrs. Huhn has lived in Rootstown since 1951 and has been an active member at the Rootstown United Methodist Church. She has been a girl scout leader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, collecting bells and making angels to give to others. Survivors include her children George (Barbara) Huhn of Palm Coast, Florida Gary (Karen) Huhn of Rootstown, Rick (Carol) Huhn of Hendersonville, NC, Susan (David) Stewart of Deerfield, Cindy (Don) Laux of Ravenna, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren with two more on the way. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Huhn on November 3, 2006, two brothers and one sister. Calling hours will be TONIGHT Friday October 11, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel and on Saturday October 12, 2013 from 10:00 Am until time of Funeral Services at 11:00 at the Rootstown United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Hindell and Rev. Jared Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
