Ethel M. (Koth) Hooker

Ethel M. Hooker  86 of Kent, passed away Tuesday May 27, 2014 at the Kent Ridge on Golden Pond.  She was born February 19, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio  to the late Frank and Rose (Plitt) Koth.  She has lived in Kent  and was formerly  of Ravenna and Northfield.  She retired from Stouffer's Frozen Foods in 1991 as a machine operator.  Survivors include her children Alfred K. (Joanne Marie) Hooker of Kent, Donna (Rollin) Bitting of Grand Junction, Colorado, Kathi (Jeff) Gauding of Rootstown, her grandchildren Katelyn, Joshua, Matthew, Stephanie, her great grandchildren Sterling, Spence and Hazel.   In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.  At her request, cremation has taken place.  Private family services have been held.  The family would like to Thank all the staff at Kent Ridge on Golden Pond and Crossroads Hospice.
