Ethelyn E. (Ellsworth) Loomis

Ethelyn E. Loomis 95 of Rootstown, formerly of Charlestown Township, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. She was born April 1, 1915 in Princess Anne, MD to the late Emmit L. and Adeline (Huddle) Ellsworth. Ethelyn was a member of the O.E.S. Chapter #46 in Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George L. Loomis in 1998, twin sister Bonnie Behner and brothers Gerald Ellsworth and Daniel Dillinger. Survivors include her daughter Virginia (Harold) Miller of Rootstown, grandchildren Kelly Clavecilla of Rootstown and Michael (Tami) Miller of Charlestown Township and 7 great grandchildren. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery. Memorials should be made to the Portage County Society of the Blind.
