Etta F. (Davisson) Locke

Etta F. Locke 82 of Palmyra passed away Saturday February 28, 2015 at Akron City Hospital.   She was born March 17, 1932 in Minnora, WVA to the late Worthy and Cora (Sears) Davisson.  Mrs. Locke has lived in Palmyra area since 1977.  She retired in 1994 from Kmart in Kent after 17 1/2 years of service as a sales associate.  She was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro.  Survivors include her children Danny (Kim) Locke of Deerfield, Robin (Reubin) Close of Palmyra, Christy Locke of Medina, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and siblings Betty, Dorothy, Shirley, Patricia and Ethel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leland on August 5, 2011, her brother Ernest and sister Rita.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Thursday March 5, 2015 and from 10:00 Am until time of funeral services at 11:00 Am on Friday March 6, 2015 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in West Cemetery Palmyra Twp., Ohio.  The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
