Eva M. (Duszynski) Lysyj

Eva M. Lysyj 88 formerly of Ravenna, passed away peacefully, Monday February 15, 2016 at the Sanctuary Nursing Home in Wadsworth, Ohio.  She was born May 23, 1927 in Kostopol, Poland to Wladyslaw and Helena (Zareba) Duszynski. Her life journey took her to the Ukraine, Siberia, Iran, Africa and Wales before meeting her husband of 50 years Ostap "Rex" Lysyj in Nottingham, England. They emigrated to the U.S. and eventually made their home in Ravenna and established Campus Camera in Kent and R & E Distributing in Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ostap , son Jerema and her siblings. Survivors include her children Steven (Donna) Lysyj, Alexandra (Todd) Beyer, Tania Gray and Alexander (Stefanie) Lysyj and a grandson Paul Gray. Memorial calling hours will be Saturday February 20, 2016 from 9:00 AM until  time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio. Funeral services  entusted  to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
