Evelyn Louise Jones 82 of Shalersville passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born May 3, 1927 in Crossville, AL to the late Tooney and Lola (Preston) Croft. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Plicka of Lakeland, FL, Elaine (Dale) Heritage of Shalersville, Lola Jones of Lakeland , FL, Kathy (Joseph) Best of Bartow, FL, son, Tooney Ray (Alicemarie) Jones of Norton, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildrern, 1 great great grandchild.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Wesley Jones, July 1988, son, Larry Joe Jones 2005, sisters, Betty Henderson, Ruby Koger, Floy Bolden, Emily Croft, madge Croft, brothers, Randall Croft, Troy Croft, and Frank Croft. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to the service, burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park. Rev. David Ballert officiating.
