Evelyn M. (Gardner) Earls

Evelyn M. Earls 86 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at The  Avenue at Macedonia. She was born May 7, 1933 in Mather, PA to William H. and Violet (Clausner) Gardner. Evelyn spent most of her life in Streetsboro and  was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro. She loved sports especially watching the Cleveland Indians and was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  She will be missed by numerous family and friends. Survivors include her children Randy (Gail) Broadwater, Rick (Michelle) Broadwater, Michael (Laurie) Broadwater, Dennis (Rose) Broadwater, Holly (Pat) Kocis, daughter in law Paula Yauman, siblings Karen (Ray)Burich, Virginia Battistoni, Joan Riggle, and William B. Gardner.  Evelyn is also survived by children, Arlan Earls, David (Vanessa) Earls, Beth (Mike) Solomon, Carol (Ken) Stankiewicz and William (Dee) Earls, many many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Floyd Broadwater 8-22-77 and Arlan Earls 3-15-20, son Bruce Broadwater and siblings Betty Parker,Delores Whoolery, Deanna Rush and Donna Fisher. A private graveside service was held at Evergreen Cemetery shortly after her death. Her family would like to thank The Avenue at Macedonia for taking such good care of Evelyn the past 18 months. She especially loved her aides, Gabby and Sam who treated her like their grandma. There will be an announcement at a later time regarding a public “celebration of life” to be held at Faith Baptist Church.  Arrangements are being handled through Shorts, Spicer and Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
