Evelyn J (Hodgson) Frantz

Evelyn J. Frantz, 94 of Ravenna, passed away Monday July 5, 2021 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.  On February 24, 1927 in Rossiter, Pennsylvania, Evelyn was born to the late Irving and Blanche (Cline) Hodgson.  Living in Ravenna most of her life, she was a homemaker who took care of her family and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Frantz on December 26, 2003 and was the last of 12 brothers and sisters.  Survivors include her children Brenda Moore, Robert (Jeanette) Frantz, her grandchildren Bryan Parsons, Kelly Parsons, Robert Frantz, III, Kristen Frantz and great grandchildren Janell, Jesse, Grace, Faith, Diego, Bobby and James.  Private family services have been held at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Evelyn may be shared with her family at http://www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
