Evelyn Mae (Wimmer) Gordon

Evelyn Mae (Wimmer) Gordon 77 of Streetsboro passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the home of her daughter (Dreama) in Garrettsville. Evelyn was born in Princeton, WV  Rev. James Claude Wimmer and Carrie Ada (Anderson) Wimmer on January 8, 1935. She retired as a school bus driver from Twinsburg City Schools in 2005. She attended Streetsboro Church of God since 1965.  She cherished her family, children, grand-children and great grandchildren who all lived around her. She is  survived by her sons: Dan (BJ) of Seville, Darrell (Michelle) of Ravenna, Geno (Tabitha) of North Canton, Randy (Bev) , Dwayne (Christina) Gordon of both of Stow  and her daughter Rev. Dreama Adkins of Garrettsville , grandchildren, Nathan (Lindsay) Adkins, Jason (Chelsea) Adkins, Brian, Jeremy (Anne), Scott (Melissa), Jessica, Jennifer, Amanda, Adam, Cameron, Abbie and Lilly Mae Gordan,  Also, survived by her great grandchildren Hunter and Tyler  and Scarlett Adkins, Airina and Hallie,  with special grands Anamica and Darshan Rai.  She is survived by brothers Paul (Freda), Joseph (Eva), Marvin (Margaret), W.T. (Ginger), sister Naomi (Otto)   Elkins.  She is also survived by some awesome nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Gordon Sr of 50 years. Their infant son Billy Eugene, her son in law Rev. Michael Adkins, and sisters Mary Lee and Carleen.  Calling hours will be held from 11 to 12 PM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Streetsboro Church of God, 9267 St. Rt. 43 Streetsboro, OH 44241, with the funeral service held at 12:00 PM following the calling hours, with Rev. Ron Natola officiating.  Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Garden in Brunswick . Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel is handling the  arrangements.
