Everett Boggs

Everett Boggs 87 of Middlefield went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 13, 2014 at the Geauga  Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio. He was born March 4, 1927 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Everett E. and Elizabeth (Matthews) Boggs.  Mr. Boggs was a veteran of the US Marines serving in WW II and had retired from Jones Motor Freight in Akron, where he worked as a truck driver.  He has lived in Middlefield the past five years and was formerly  of Streetsboro and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Ravenna.  Being an avid outdoorsmen, Mr. Boggs enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.  Survivors include his wife of  37 years, Marvel V. (Brady) Boggs, his children Jeffery Boggs of Tucson, AZ, Frank (Pam) Sieneski of Akron, Diane (Franz) Hansell of Burton, Ohio  and Brenda Gauvin of Middlefield, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons Ernie Boggs,  Butch Edmiston,  seven brothers and three sisters.  Private Family Services  have been held.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com .
