F. Lester Yost

F. Lester Yost  87 of Ravenna passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014 at his residence . He was  born July 11, 1927 to the late Fredrick and Grace (Greenwald)  Yost in Pittsburgh, PA.  He has lived in Ravenna since 1996 and was formerly of Kent.   Mr. Yost was preceded in death by his daughter Darrell Simms.  He  is survived  by his wife Lois (Fordyce)  Yost whom he married Nov. 24, 1948,  daughter Leslie  Painter of Streetsboro, sons Gary (Sandra) and David (Dawn) Yost both of Ravenna. His grandchildren, Tonya, Melissa, Kris, Zack, and Michael, step-grandchildren, Jody and Amy, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren .  Lester retired as a manager from Davey Tree Service in Kent .  At  his  request, cremation has taken place  and interment  will be at a later date.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.  Donations may be sent to Robison Memorial Hospital Hospice.
