Fay A. (Conner) Douglas

Fay A. Douglas 61 of Shalersville passed away Tuesday August 26, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born July 7, 1953 in Cleveland to the late Ray Allen, and Grace (McNelly)) Conner.  Fay graduated from Coventry High School and attended Malone University.  She retired from the Department of H.U.D.  She was a member of The Chapel at Tinkers Creek in Streetsboro, enjoyed working on crafts, going to flea markets, garage sales, and collecting salt and pepper shakers.  Fay will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Daniel P. Douglas whom she married June 14, 1980, her daughters, Charlotte (Michael) Plahuta of Cuyahoga Falls , Rachel Douglas of Shalersville, her grandchildren, Eric and Evelyn, sisters Roberta, Renita, Crystal, Donna, and her brother Kevin. Besides her parents she was preceded by a brother Tom.  Calling hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 30, 2014 with Rev. Dave McClellan will be officiating,  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville following the service.
