Florence Evelyn Reed 79 of Ravenna, formerly of Cambridge and Mantua, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012. She was born August 30, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Demetrius and Irene (Jacob) Christon. She loved her family, home and friends. Her hobby's included crafts and gardening. Survivors include her daughters Robin (Rick) Rossego of Ravenna and Colleen (Anthony) Laflame of Hudson, son Jeff (Susan) Reed of Ravenna, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Helen Raub of FL and brother Nicholas (Debbie) Laurio of SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carlton F. Reed in 2004 and a daughter Debbie Springer. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with friends received from 5:00 PM to time of services Wednesday. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1690 W.
