Floyd A. North, Jr., 70, of Streetsboro, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Cleveland. He was born on January 25, 1943 in Bedford, a son of the late, Floyd and Dorothy (Hall) North, Sr. Floyd was a resident of Streetsboro for the past 40 years, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Potter) North of Streetsboro; daughters, Peggy Edwards of Streetsboro and Patty (Greg) Geis of Streetsboro; son, Scott North of Streetsboro; four grandchildren, Gregory, Conrad, Alexandra, and Ali; sisters, Debbie Bell of Edinburg, Ruth North of Stow, and Esther Seeley; and brother, Ollie North of Ocala, Florida. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-4 & 5-7 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM.
