Forrest W. "Will" Roberts

Forrest W. "Will" Roberts, 91 , of Streetsboro, Ohio passed away  Wednesday October 2, 2024 at the Medina Hospice of Western Reserve.  On January 15, 1933, Will was born in Jefferson, PA to the late Hiram and Mary (Dunn) Roberts.  He has lived in Streetsboro the past 60 years and had retired 1995 from Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills after 40 years of service.  He attended St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Streetsboro. Will was an avid hunter, camper, bingo player and loved his family with all his heart. Together with his best friend Don Walk, he started Streetsboro junior baseball with only having girls and no boys between the 2 of them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by  sisters Eugene Roberts, E. Irene Shipman, brother Harry S. Roberts, Uncle Charlie Dunn and 5 other siblings preceded before he was born.  Survivors include his wife of almost 66 years, Betty L. (Donkers) Roberts who he married October 18, 1958, his children  Barbara J. (Joseph) Skonieczny, Cathy L. (Alan) Brower, Sandra L. (Gary) Popson, Candie A. (Pete) Antos, Bobi R. (Brad) Ryczek, 32 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be Monday October 7, 2024 from 5 to 8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 Am Tuesday October 8, 2024 with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  In honoring his wishes, Will requested memorial donations to St. Jude Hospital.  Condolences and memories of Will may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
