Frances E (Bennett) Brinckmann

Frances E. Brinckmann 82 of Kent passed away July 14, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born April 26, 1929 in Akron to the late Ernest and Evelyn (Pugh) Bennett.  Frances was a graduated of the University of Southern California.  She has lived most her life in Portage County where she retired from Time Warner. Frances was Elected President of the Women's Labor Union at Time Warner, very active with the Brimfield Historical Society and the Kelso House, and she was a member of MENSA International. Survivors include her sons, Bruce Wayne Robinson of Kent, Dan Arthur Robinson CA, sister, Mabel Kneale of Florida, brothers, Roland Bennett of Brimfield, Eugene Bennett of CA, Allan Bennett of Akron, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephew, Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 2 infant children, sister, Beth Bennett, and a brother, Milton Bennett.  Cremation has taken place and a Time of Remembrance will be held, Sunday July 31, 2011, where the will be lite fare and refreshments from 2 - 5 PM at her residence, 1294 Lake Martin Drive Kent, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family c/o Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 whom is handling the arrangements.
