Frank Denzinger, Jr.

Frank "Bud" Denzinger, Jr., 98 of Palmyra Twp., passed  away Monday July 6, 2020 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was born July 22, 1921 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Frank and Nellie (Wade) Denzinger, Sr.  Mr. Denzinger has lived in Palmyra the past 50 something years where he was a member of the Deerfield American Legion Post 713, the Deerfield F&AM Charity Unity Lodge 530 and the Palmyra Methodist Church.  He was a retired carpenter from Union Local 639 of Akron and a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII where he fought in the battle of the Bulge.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucille A. (Groetz)  Denzinger on September 22, 2004 and two brothers Sam Anderson and Norman Denzinger.  Survivors include his children Cindy (Paul) Ries, Dan (Carol) Denzinger, Holly A. Goodrich, John (Twila) Denzinger, Tom Denzinger, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his sister Katie Carlton.  Graveside services with military honors will be at West Cemetery in Palmyra Twp., Ohio on Friday July 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM.  Condolences and memories of Mr. Denzinger may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
