Frank Maffei

Frank Maffei,  83 of Ravenna passed away Thursday April 18, 2019.  He was born March 28, 1936 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Vito and Angelena (Dadato) Maffei, Sr.  Frank was a lifelong Ravenna resident and was a retired bridge worker for Iron Workers #17.  He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, the Ravenna Moose and was a veteran of the US Army.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers  Joe and Vince.  Survivors include his wife Vonna Klamut, his sons Chuck (Sue) , Rick, Vince (Kim), his grandchildren Kaylie, Angelene (Jeremy) Finch, Chloe, Kristen(Will) Lee, Mitchell Klamut,  Vonna's family, Joe (Kathy) Klamut, Mike (Kathleen) Klamut,  his great grandchildren Brayden and Charles  Finch and siblings Mary Baumgarten, Cos (Cheryl) and Vito Maffei, Jr.  Memorial calling hours will be from 10:30 AM Thursday April 25, 2019 until time of the 11:30 AM memorial service at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Pastor Laurie  Metzko officiating.  Burial with  US Army military honors will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family would like to say Thanks to the caring people at Woodlands, who became family, Also thanks to the Rosary group and Crossroads Hospice.
